The application requirements for degree programs are very unique compared to other American universities. First, the college does not require standardized grades, but it does require students to pass three courses with a grade above B. According to the dean of Extension School, the academic requirements of the college are not low. According to the educational intensity of Harvard, to maintain the three courses have passed and achieved a grade above B, if the student takes three courses at the same time in a semester, the student needs to study at least 80 hours per week (estimated to read 1,200 pages of English literature per week), this requirement has excluded more than 80% of the applicants. The College offers both on-campus and remote delivery options for open and degree program students. If students choose the on-campus mode, students will share classes with students from 12 other faculties. For degree students, the school requires students to complete at least 4 courses required for their degree in school.
