In order to help mainland educators understand the basic principles of online teaching and build an exchange platform for the design and development of online courses, the two sides jointly developed the online course “Design and Development of Online Courses”. The course has attracted in-service teachers and staff from a number of radio and television university system units and network education colleges in the Mainland. Graduates can obtain the “HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education Training Completion Certificate” (in Chinese and English) and “Beijing Radio and Television University Training Completion Certificate” issued by the School of Professional and Continuing Education of the University of Hong Kong and Beijing Radio and Television University, and become lifelong alumni of the School of Professional and Continuing Education of the University of Hong Kong and Beijing Radio and Television University.
